Leaders with Good Coaching Skills Are Scarce, Finds New Study

There is a dangerous scarcity of leaders with good coaching skills, according to new research conducted by in partnership with professional services firm, InsideOut Development.

The study found that only about a fifth of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that managers in their organizations demonstrate behaviors that make a good coach. This scarcity occurs at a time when 94% of study participants said that manager-led coaching has either remained important or grown more important over the past year.
